She talks to “Women On Top” on how she got into the movie “The Secret”

I’m going to tell you the love attraction story of my connection with The Secret, how I got into The Secret is purely by using the law of attraction. I moved to America in 2002 and I created my vision board for being in America. On my vision board I put a little yellow post-it note that said “I’m going to be in a movie, seen by millions of people that will transform the world.” These were just words that came to me but when I put them on my vision board I thought “Well movies you know, I’m living in San Francisco, that’s not that far from Hollywood. Definitely closer then Belgium where I’m originally from.”

So I bought myself a fake Oscar, put the name, Marie diamond on it, and put the year 2005. I decided to take my time to connect to my movie. Every day I would read that text on my dream board “I’m going to be in a movie, seen by millions of people that will transform the world.” and talk to my Oscar. The first thing that happened within a month was that Marci Shimoff, author of Chicken soup for the soul for women, attended my seminar. She became a mentoring client and friend. The second thing was I got a call from an Oscar winning client who said “I heard about you…” To this day, I don’t know where he heard about me, but I started to work with him and went to Feng Shui his home where there was a real Oscar. I’d been focused on the movie I wanted to be in not really on working with Oscar winning clients but the Universe noticed the Oscar and gave me a combination. I got introduced to other clients and went on from there.

Then I got pregnant and one night I dreamed that my little girl said: “I want to be born in Santa Barbara.” So I thought “Ok let’s make that happen.” I started writing down which kind of home I wanted, I always do that, set the intention. I do this in great detail, because the more details you put out into the universe, the easier it is for the Universe to manifest it for you. The same dream also told me to connect with the wife of Jack Canfield, who at that point I didn’t know who he was. So I called Marci and asked her if she knew him. “Of course” she said “He’s my mentor, do you want me to connect you?” I told her though that I wasn’t interested in him but in his wife and so I found myself at a lunch with her. I told her I was looking for a house and she was key in finding it. But she wasn’t sure how because she didn’t know anything about real estate. My husband however, who had dropped me at their estate,

on the way back saw a property for rent and called the estate agent and set a meeting for 4pm. In the meantime Jack had joined us for lunch and asked me to give him some Feng Shui tips. I decided to tell him what was going on his life rather than giving him tips. Turned out I was quite spot on and he asked me to Feng Shui his home. So I ended up not only living in a house near to him but also Feng Shuied his home, offices etc… We met again and he told me about this Transformational Leadership Council he was organizing and asked me to come to the meeting. I was seven months pregnant at the time. The meeting was five months from then, but I was reluctant. I felt like a nobody still. I had a few hundreds of students but I was very small in America. Jack however wanted someone from Europe and told me “You will become as famous and successful as the others.” I ended up saying yes, I trusted him. So I ended up as a founding member of that council. I was very impressed by all these people and a little overwhelmed but I did keep going. I knew the Universe put me there for a reason. Two weeks before the third meeting in Colorado I had another dream. This time about a blonde woman who said “When you see me, pay attention to me.”

If you want your wish & your request to the universe to manifest. You need to let the universe know that you are passionate about it, Not only by thinking and feeling but by acting upon it to show the universe that this is what you wish for.

So I went to the meeting and shy as I was, sat at the back and there was just one empty seat left next to me. During one of the sessions, this blonde woman came in and sat next to me. She introduced herself as Rhonda Byrne’s from Australia and was doing a movie called “The Secret” but many people didn’t want to do the interview because she wasn’t that well known yet. I grabbed the opportunity with both hands and said “Yes I am in.” I said I would be in a movie that would change millions of lives, if that’s being filmed in Australia, I didn’t mind! After our conversation she said “You will definitely be in the movie, because you’re talking about something nobody else is. It’s about what is around you also being part of the law of attraction.”

Six months later, the group of the council saw the movie “The Secret” and I have this beautiful part in it. Many of the top speakers came to see me and said “Marie, wow, you had such a beautiful part. Why are you in this movie and why are we not in the movie?” I said to them “Was it on your vision board to be in a movie that would transform millions of lives in the world?” “No” they said. “Well it was on mine!” I answered.
