Falguni Nayyar
Falguni Nayar, the founder of the cosmetics business Nykaa. She became India’s wealthiest self-made female billionaire on November 10th. Nayar, who shares more than 50% percent of the company, has become worth $6.5 billion.
As Nayar reaches the ranks Ce p the world’s wealthiest people, it’s worth noting that Nykaa’s parent company, FSN E-Commerce Ventures, is the country’s first woman-led unicorn to go public.
Nayar’s adventure began nine years ago when she resigned from her position as managing director of the Kotak Mahindra Group to start her own company. She was only a few months away from turning 50 at the time.
To say the least, the Indian beauty market was fragmented when Nykaa launched. Men’s beauty products were not as diverse as they are now, and brick-and-mortar establishments offered a restricted selection. Nykaa provided Indians with a unique combination of budget brands, rare and premium brands, cruelty-free items, and the like, all under one roof.
While Nayar dealt with supply concerns by stocking up on fast-moving items in its warehouses, other problems lingered. The cosmetics business faced many issues, including inventory management, product presentation, and preventing dead stock by keeping track of expiration dates. There were many other challenges in front of her and the path to becoming a top entrepreneur was not easy for her.
Overcoming all these challenges Falguni Nayyar is now known as one of the most Inspiring women entrepreneurs in the world.
Oprah Winfrey
Oprah Winfrey is one individual who is recognized for her real leadership. She is a popular talk show host, actress in films and television, philanthropist, and television producer. Her chat program, The Oprah Winfrey Show, was broadcast nationally and globally, and it helped her break into the corporate world. For three years in the twentieth century, Oprah was the sole African American billionaire. She has raised over $51 million for education and disaster help through her nonprofit network.
In many respects, Oprah has embodied and continues to exemplify the theoretical qualities of genuine leadership, such as self-awareness and internalized moral viewpoint. The Oprah Winfrey Show’s focus switched from bizarre stories and guests to spirituality and wellness in the 1990s. She was working on being a healthier person at the time, and she planned to publish a book about living a healthy lifestyle with her personal trainer. Because she was aware of what was important to her, which was reflected in her talk show, this incident may be considered as having self-awareness.
With superb instructors, small classrooms, contemporary facilities, and wide grounds, Winfrey developed a $40 million dream school spacious, intelligently designed, and charmingly decorated. The exceptional school’s launch generated a lot of attention, acclaim, and imitators in South Africa and worldwide, but it also brought a lot of criticism. Oprah Winfrey is now an Inspiring role model not only for women but also for men.
Rihanna
A singer, songwriter, fashion designer, and all-around icon, Rihanna burst on the scene in 2005. This multi-talented superstar stormed the music industry, and to date has won 9 Grammys, 13 American Music Awards, and 12 Billboard Music Awards. She broke into the fashion world in 2014 as the Creative Director/Brand Ambassador for Puma. In 2017, Rihanna launched her Fenty Beauty line, which was later named by Time Magazine as one of the best inventions of 2017.
Rihanna’s beauty line, Fenty Beauty, was created to cater to a diverse client base. Rihanna realized how difficult it was for women with a darker complexion and specific skin disorders to find cosmetics that were appropriate for them. And, if they did find the right cosmetics, it was more expensive than companies that catered to lighter complexion tones.
Rihanna was engaged in every aspect of the cosmetics line’s development, including packaging, marketing, and formulation. She began with her personal experience, which was motivated by the number of times she’d left the makeup chair unsatisfied.
Many of the major cosmetic manufacturers scrambled to catch up after Fenty Beauty’s debut. It was already too late. Fenty Beauty has established itself as the new industry standard for diverse, high-quality, and cheap cosmetics. Rihanna stands as the youngest on the list of top women entrepreneurs and hiriye story keeps inspiring lots of people.
