People now consume a great deal of media through films. The amount of time a person spends immersed in the world of mass media is growing as information technology advances. Cinema accounts for a considerable share of all media items consumed. Going to the movies is the most popular way of spending leisure time. Women are powerful, bold, and strong, regardless of what society has taught us throughout our lives. It's true in real life, and it's critical to have these women portrayed in the movies as well. Films of all genres, from documentary to drama, have the ability to have a dramatic influence on real life. Even if you aren't aware of it, chances are you've watched at least one film that has altered the landscape of our popular culture. These films, which have had a palpable impact on our lives outside the theater, are wonderful illustrations of the vital function that film plays in the world at large.

Female Characters in movies and their impact on Audiences

The film is a popular type of entertainment that allows viewers to build emotional relationships with people and learn about their social lives. In the past, though, women rarely saw inspiring female equivalents on the big screen. For many decades, many major jobs in filmmaking, such as directors and cinematographers, were nearly totally dominated by men, and women lacked the capacity to make demands in the business. As a result, women have always been underrepresented in films. For young girls, the lack of a female role model on television is damaging.

Examples of Female characters influencing the Audience

Million Dollar Baby

Nowadays, this picture is changing, and many films have come up with female characters in lead roles. Movies like ‘Million Dollar Baby’ have a great positive impact on the worldwide audience. Every stereotype about a female is thrown to the wind in Million Dollar Baby.

Queen

The Bollywood movie ‘Queen’ is one good example of how female characters impact a large audience. It doesn’t get much more badass than a jilted bride traveling on her honeymoon by herself. Because Rani showed us that while it is wonderful to love and be grateful for one’s family and friends. One must also be able to stand up for oneself and hold one’s own. Additionally, the life lessons offered by the Queen are far less inspirational and genuine.

Sansa (GOT)

One such character from a popular show called Game of Thrones (GOT) is Sansa.  Sansa faces a lot of criticism from Game of Thrones fans. She can’t fight or use a sword, and she’s a little girlie in a manner that the other ladies aren’t. But, for Turner, that’s what made her most emotional moment, giving torturer Ramsay Bolton to the hound. Many female characters from GOT have influenced worldwide audiences with one or the other message. As a result, GOT is one of the most-watched web shows.

Fashion

Bollywood movie name ‘Fashion’ starring Priyanka Chopra is another example of how female characters impact the audience. In this drama, director Madhur Bhandarkar took the veneer off the fashion business, yet it could have come off as a farce if Priyanka had not accurately represented the spectrum of emotions a model goes through in a very competitive, brutal environment. In 2008, Bollywood was all about “Heroes” and male-centric. Even then, ‘Fashion’ did well and had an outstanding performance by Priyanka Chopra changed the audience’s way of thinking.

Inventing Anna

‘Inventing Anna’ relates the story of an iconic and mysterious scandal. Anna Delvey and her court case drew a lot of attention from the media, and it’s fascinating to see how Rhimes created a series that would flip the media’s negative portrayals of Delvey on its heads and establish a good impression of her, whether that impression is accurate. A fable based on a true tale is not always easy to pull off in a way that will pique the interest of people who are familiar with the true story.

Edge of Tomorrow

Emily Blunt in Tom Cruise ft. ‘Edge of Tomorrow’ has left a strong impact on worldwide audiences. She’s everything we’ve come to expect from a Cruise character: confident, unflappable, and ready to take on whatever the impossible task throws at her. Cruise plays off Blunt’s skill with his own neurotic twitches, paranoia, chicanery, and fear-driven actions in this picture, and their chemistry is wonderful. Even with the strong male lead role, Emily’s performance is noteworthy.

Fame Game

Netflix’s The Fame Game, starring Madhuri Dixit, is a mystery thriller in which she played Anamika, a successful actress who goes missing. Following that is a series of investigations, interrogations, and a search for the country’s most adored celebrity. It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to suggest that Madhuri carries The Fame Game on her small but powerful shoulders alone.

Good movies nearly always have an influence on the audience; how much depends on the film and the individual. Individually, people are going to be impacted by films, as one of the primary goals of the cinematic art form is to influence and convey a message. Female characters in movies also have a variety of effects on society and the current world we live in, some of which are terrible and some of which are favorable. Because the film business is so large, movies with female characters have a massive impact and influence on the audience.
